Hourly and as-directed service with a private chauffeur

For the hours you reserve in San Francisco, the car and your chauffeur stay with you: that's hourly chauffeur service with BlackWingz Limo. It's one of the bookings San Francisco clients make most often, and it suits a day that won't fit into a single ride.

What does as-directed car service mean?

It means you decide where to go as you go. During your reserved time, your chauffeur drives you to the places you ask for, as long as each is inside the area BlackWingz serves and the request is feasible.

How many hours do I need to book?

At least 3 hours. If you book the Luxury Sprinter by the hour, the minimum is 6 hours.

When does hourly time start and end?

The clock starts at the pickup time on your booking and stops when you tell your chauffeur you're finished.

Can I make several stops in one booking?

Yes. You can send the places you'd like to visit before your hours begin, and add more along the way, as long as each stop is feasible and inside the area we serve. Time at each stop counts toward your reserved hours.

When the day runs long

If you're still out when your reserved hours end, there's no need to call ahead. Extra time is billed at the applicable hourly rate for your vehicle or service, in whole hours rather than by the minute.

Hours that begin outside the Bay Area

If your hourly pickup is outside the Bay Area, the travel time from the Bay Area out to it may be added to your reserved time. If the service ends outside the Bay Area too, the travel time back toward it may also be added; if it ends inside the Bay Area, that return leg isn't added. Serving the San Francisco Bay Area, with long-distance service available by request.

A private chauffeur for the day

If you're booking the hours for work and your company holds an account with us, a colleague can book them for you through Corporate accounts. You can also book the hours for someone else without that account. Whoever books, our standard asks your chauffeur to be discreet, and not to pass on anything they learn about you, your trip or your conversations.

Planning the hours

Passengers and bags decide the car, so compare the vehicle classes first. A wine day in Napa is a separate booking, through Napa and wine country.

Under our cancellation terms, there's no charge for canceling 24 hours or more before pickup, or 48 hours or more for the Luxury Sprinter. Cancel later than that and the charge is the 3‑hour minimum, or 6 hours at the Sprinter's hourly rate, however many hours you reserved. If the whole booking has already been charged by then, what you paid beyond that charge is refunded.
