Privacy Policy

When you book, we collect your name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop-off addresses and flight number. We also collect other passengers' names, your billing address, any notes or special requests, and details about a child passenger, such as age or car-seat needs.

For a quote, we collect that information except other passengers' names and the billing address. An ordinary reservation also requires a payment card to be kept on file.

If you have an online account, the booking system holds its sign-in details; we do not collect them. Your account keeps information such as saved addresses or past trips.

An outside company provides the booking system, where your information is kept. We have no set period for keeping booking records.

We use the information you provide when booking or asking for a quote only for reservations. Our own dispatch staff handle your information within the business.

Card payment processing is part of the booking system; no other outside company provides it. The other services we use include a business call service for our phone line and call recording, an email service, and a messaging service that sends our texts to you.

If another company carries out your booking, it receives the passenger's name and trip details.

Our staff can see only the last 4 digits of your card number, not the full number.

We send texts and emails about your own trips, and call when needed. You can opt out of our texts, for example by replying STOP. We do not send you promotional emails or text messages.

Calls to our customer service and dispatch number, (415) 881-6199, are recorded, and before recording starts you hear a message saying so. We also record calls we make to you. Recordings are kept on the company phone used by customer support and dispatch.

We use visits to our website or booking pages for advertising, for example to show ads to people who visited. We do not give another company the details you provide when you book or ask for a quote, for that company to use in its own marketing.

Google Analytics and Google Ads. Our website uses Google Analytics to measure visits: the pages viewed, the device and browser type, the approximate location, and how the visitor arrived, for example from a search or an ad. It also counts clicks on "Book" buttons and phone numbers, and the first click in the booking form. Google Analytics uses cookies to recognize a returning browser, and it does not store IP addresses. The same Google tag sends these visits and clicks to Google Ads, so we can see which of our ads lead to bookings and calls. Google Ads may also use these visits to show our ads to people who visited. A visitor who arrives from one of our Google ads may see a Google forwarding number in place of ours. A call to it reaches us, and Google records the call's start time, its length, whether it connected and, for calls longer than 15 seconds, the caller's phone number.

OpenAI Ads. Our website also uses OpenAI's advertising pixel, so we can see which of our ads in ChatGPT lead to bookings and calls. It receives the pages viewed and the same clicks: on phone numbers, on "Book" buttons and the first click in the booking form.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, our website does not load Google Analytics, Google Ads or OpenAI's pixel. We do not respond to the older "Do Not Track" signal.

The booking and sign-in pages. The booking form and the account sign-in are part of our booking system, and they load from our booking system provider's website. To work, that form also loads parts from other companies' servers, such as maps for address suggestions, a check against automated spam, fonts, the card payment step and a lookup of your IP address. It also runs its own Google Analytics and Google Ads tags. Our Global Privacy Control check does not reach inside that form.

Our host. Our website is stored and delivered by a web hosting company. Like any web host, it receives what every browser sends when it asks for a page, including its IP address, to deliver the page. Our fonts and photos come from our own website.

How to opt out. Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser if it offers it, or block cookies in your browser's settings. On a computer, Google's opt-out add-on for Google Analytics (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) stops Google Analytics on every website. Google's My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com) controls which ads Google shows you.
