Every car we drive has the water, chargers, Wi-Fi and privacy glass; the rest of the list is the Sprinter's own. Captain's chairs give each guest a seat of their own, while lounge seating suits a group that wants to talk face to face.

Up front is your chauffeur, in a black suit and tie, with a background check, a drug test and a driving-record check behind them. They handle the doors and the luggage, so your group only has to take a seat.

Airport runs. A group landing together rides home in one vehicle, with room for 10 or more bags, and your chauffeur loads every case. At SFO, Oakland and San Jose, the first 45 minutes after landing are free, as with any of our cars. See airport transfers.

Wine days. In Napa and Sonoma you plan the wineries and the whole group rides together from the first stop to the last, with the day's bottles in the back. Choosing the Sprinter for a wine day is about the size of your group: the tour's minimum hours are the same in every vehicle. See wine tours.

Weddings, concerts and nights out. The wedding party, or a group of friends, arrives at once and leaves together at the end. Booked by the hour, the group can add stops as the night goes on. See event transportation.

Prom and graduation. The whole group rides together with a background-checked chauffeur at the wheel, from the first pickup to the last drop-off at home.

Long-distance trips. A group bound for Lake Tahoe, Monterey and Carmel or Reno rides in one cabin, with room for everyone's weekend luggage. Book it online like any ride, or call us to talk it through.

An SUV seats up to 6, so a group of 7 to 12 could also split across 2 of them. The Sprinter keeps everyone in one cabin, for the conversation on the way and a single arrival for the whole group.

2 SUVs suit a group that will split later, with 2 drop-off points at the end of the night. For 6 guests or fewer, a single SUV is usually the better fit. More than 14 guests? Pair the Sprinter with an SUV, or book as many vehicles as the group needs.

By the hour, an SUV can be booked for a shorter time than the Sprinter, which matters for a short evening. For a single transfer, compare the 2 quotes when you book: each vehicle is quoted all-inclusive, so the totals sit side by side.

Before pickup, a text gives you your chauffeur's name, phone number and the vehicle; after the trip, a receipt arrives by email.
