2 sedan classes

Our sedan service comes in 2 classes, each a different Mercedes. Both seat 2 passengers in the back, with room for a 3rd in the front seat, and both carry 2–3 bags.

  • Executive Sedan: Mercedes E-Class
  • Luxury Sedan: Mercedes S-Class
  • Passengers: 2, plus a 3rd in the front seat
  • Luggage: 2–3 bags
  • On board: bottled water, phone chargers, Wi-Fi and tinted privacy windows

Our third sedan class is the VIP Class Sedan, a Maybach, which has a page of its own.

E-Class or S-Class

Capacity and amenities are the same in both, so the choice comes down to the car you would like to arrive in. The E-Class is our Executive Sedan; the S-Class, one class up, is our Luxury Sedan.

When you book, pick Executive Sedan for the E-Class or Luxury Sedan for the S-Class, and your quote shows the price for that class.

Inside the sedan

Phone chargers and Wi-Fi turn the back seat into a quiet place to work between meetings. Tinted windows keep it private, and bottled water is ready when you get in.

The car is immaculate inside and out when it reaches you, and discretion goes with every ride: what is said in the back seat stays there.

Where the sedan fits

Airport transfers: for 1 or 2 travelers with 2–3 bags between them, a sedan suits SFO, Oakland or San Jose. Your chauffeur meets you at the curb or in baggage claim.

Evenings and point-to-point rides: dinner across town, a show, or the ride home after a late meeting. In San Francisco, the sedan suits the short hops, such as a hotel to Moscone Center or a home in Pacific Heights to SFO.

Sedan rules in brief

Alcohol is not allowed in the sedans; it is allowed only in the Sprinter, for guests 21 and over. The rest of our rules, from cancellation to waiting time, are in our Terms.

Sedan questions

Should I choose the E-Class or the S-Class?

Both seat 2 in the back with 2–3 bags and the same amenities. Pick the E-Class as the Executive Sedan, or the S-Class, our Luxury Sedan class, for a step up.

Can 3 of us ride in a sedan?

Yes. 2 sit in the back and the 3rd rides in the front seat. If all 3 would rather sit in the back, an SUV seats up to 6.

How many bags fit in a sedan?

2–3 bags. Bringing more? An SUV carries 5–6.

Can we take a sedan on a wine day?

Yes. Wine days run from a 6-hour minimum in any vehicle, sedans included, and sealed bottles you buy ride home in the trunk.
